One of my favorite movies of all time is this classic starring Robin Williams called "What Dreams May Come". I saw it when it was out in the movie theaters in 1998 and was very impressed with it. Robin Williams plays a husband/father who's children pass away and then he himself passes away. When Williams dies, he finds himself in his own bizarre version of "heaven" and accompanied by some twists n turns "What Dreams May Come" takes you through an emotional journey and if you're like me it will send you into some deep thought.
I'd recommend this one for couples, young and old, possibly a date night thing? Either way, if you haven't seen this movie already give it a shot. Let me know if you dig it too!
This is a very bootleg looking kind of documentary focused on the events of September 11th 2001 as well as other major events including an examination of the Apollo 11 moon landing. I stumbled upon this documentary one late night and was very intrigued by the information provided and the break down. I would suggest this video to any "conspiracy theorists" or any people into thought provoking documentaries like this. It has the production value like it was transferred from VHS to dvd back to VHS and back to DVD then ripped onto a computer...but it is very hard to argue with the information they give you. Closed minded people need not watch, as you will probably get all mad and uppity about it...
In Point Pleasant, West Virginia there is a legend called the "Mothman". This film, starring Richard Gere, Laura Linney, Will Patton and Debra Messing, is also one of my favorite movies! If you do some research on the legend of "Mothman" and see some documentaries, you will see after this movie that the movie happened to do the legend justice.
This movie actually gave me chills throughout and always manages to command my undivided attention whenever it's on. If I see it on I can't help but put it on and it is always in my que so when I feel like throwing it on, it's right there waiting.
"Reporter John Klein is plunged into a world of impossible terror and
unthinkable chaos when fate draws him to a sleepy West Virginia town
whose residents are being visited by a great winged shape that sows
hideous nightmares and fevered visions."
There was also an episode of Paranormal State which happened to feature the legend of the "Mothman" as the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) investigated the legend for themselves. They have all seasons (I believe) of Paranormal State, also available for instant streaming on Netflix.
Write ya back tomorrow!
